Apply to become DarkSky Recognized. By earning official recognition, you add your county or municipality to the growing list of communities, parks, reserves, and sanctuaries worldwide dedicated to protecting the night. To become recognized, the enacted or adopted code must pass a DarkSky review to verify the outdoor lighting requirements meet essential criteria listed within the DarkSky municipal code template.
